Material Landscapes
Landscapes, material and architecture are inherently intertwined. Each exists in a reciprocal ecosystem in which non exists without the other. By working with bio-based materials, we aim for an architecture that is not only nature-inclusive, but natural itself.
An architecture as such is part of a complex entropic and metabolist system - an architecture that shifts shapes. From growing in a forest or field, to being combined into a built structure, to potentially be taken down and reintegrated back into nature - we never leave a trace.
Living Together
Architecture has the power to foster togetherness. By constructing frameworks where people can share spaces, resources and responsibility, we create urban environments that are plural, inclusive and supportive.
We imagine alternative models of living together. Through cooperative housing projects, schools, collective project developments or shared mobility hubs, we explore how connection can replace isolation — shifting from individualism to encounter, from separation to shared presence.
Reclaiming Abundance
We lament the imminent loss of material riches and combat demolition by imagining new futures and next chapters for our existing building stock. The future is already built. Across our urban landscapes there is an abundance of space, material and potential hidden in plain sight. Through adaptive re-use of existing structures, we re-claim this abundance.
We cultivate an architectural strategy informed by urgent scarcity and unexpected generosity. By working with what is already there, we uncover spatial richness and narrative depth while drastically reducing our material footprints.
